Yaz\u0131l\u0131 ve sanal ortamlar\u0131 \u201cGDO\u2019lu \u00fcr\u00fcnlere izin \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u201d, \u201cT\u00fcrkiye GDO\u2019lu ithal yemlerin i\u015fgali alt\u0131nda!\u201d gibi, d\u00fcnyadaki bilimsel, tar\u0131msal ve ekonomik geli\u015fmelere ters d\u00fc\u015fen sloganlar kaplad\u0131.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"selectionShareable\"><strong>Ne yaz\u0131k ki, olay\u0131n di\u011fer y\u00fcz\u00fcn\u00fc \u00f6\u011frenmek isteyenlerin ula\u015faca\u011f\u0131 herhangi bir habere, makaleye, blo\u011fa, analize ula\u015fmak hi\u00e7 de kolay de\u011fil. Gelin madalyonun o y\u00fcz\u00fcne bir g\u00f6z atal\u0131m:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"selectionShareable\"><strong>D\u00fcnyada GDOlu \u00fcr\u00fcnlerde son geli\u015fmeler<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"selectionShareable\">182 milyon hektar ekili\u015fe sahip biyoteknolojik k\u00fclt\u00fcr bitkileri d\u00fcnyada ekim yap\u0131lan alanlar\u0131n %12\u2019sine ula\u015fm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. 28 \u00fclkede ekilen 8 \u00fcr\u00fcn 1996\u2019dan 2013 y\u0131l\u0131na kadar her y\u0131l 133 milyar dolarl\u0131k bir art\u0131 de\u011fer sa\u011flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu, \u00fcretim masraflar\u0131n\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcrerek ve birim alandan kald\u0131r\u0131lan fazla \u00fcretimle ger\u00e7ekle\u015fmi\u015ftir. Bu nedenlerle transgenik \u00fcr\u00fcnlerin maliyeti ve sat\u0131\u015flar\u0131, GDO\u2019suz \u00fcr\u00fcnlere oranla ortalama %30 daha ucuzdur.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>AB ve T\u00fcrkiye neden GDO\u2019lu \u00fcr\u00fcn ithal etmek zoru<\/strong><strong>ndad\u0131rlar?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"selectionShareable\">Hayvanc\u0131l\u0131kla ilgili k\u0131sa bilgi: Ah\u0131r hayvanc\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131nda saman gibi kaba yem d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda, \u00f6zellikle protein i\u00e7erikli kesif yem kullan\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Her \u00fclke, yem hammaddesini, \u00fclke i\u00e7inden veya d\u0131\u015f\u0131ndan besicisine sunmak durumundad\u0131r. Yani, \u00fclkede yeterince kesif yem \u00fcretilemiyorsa, piyasa ko\u015fullar\u0131na g\u00f6re hammadde ithal etmek zorundad\u0131r. T\u00fcrkiye ve baz\u0131 AB \u00fclkeleri, gereksinimlerini %80\u2019e varabilen oranda, a\u011f\u0131rl\u0131kl\u0131 olarak soya \u00fcr\u00fcnleri ithal ederek kapatmaktad\u0131r. Soya ihracat\u00e7\u0131s\u0131 \u00fclkelerin soya \u00fcretimleri %90\u2019n\u0131n \u00fcst\u00fcnde GDO\u2019ludur. Yukar\u0131daki \u00e7izelgeden de anla\u015f\u0131labilece\u011fi gibi, 2014 y\u0131l\u0131 itibar\u0131 ile Brezilya\u2019da toplam soya ekiminin %92\u2019i, ABD\u2019de %93\u2019i, Paraguay\u2019da %95\u2019i ve Arjantin\u2019de %100\u2019\u00fc transgeniktir<em>. <\/em>Ayr\u0131ca bu \u00fcr\u00fcnlerin ucuzlu\u011fu nedeniyle -rekabet ko\u015fullar\u0131 gere\u011fi- bir\u00e7ok \u00fclke GDO\u2019lu \u00fcr\u00fcn ithal etmek durumundad\u0131rlar.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>GDO\u2019lu \u00fcr\u00fcnler sa\u011fl\u0131k a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan ger\u00e7ekten riskli mi?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"selectionShareable\">ABD Ulusal Bilim Akademisi ve AB \u00fclkelerinden bilim adamlar\u0131n\u0131n yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 son yay\u0131nlar, EFSA (AB G\u0131da G\u00fcvenli\u011fi Yetkili Birimi) da, GDO\u2019lu g\u0131dalar\u0131n \u201cgeleneksel g\u0131dalar kadar g\u00fcvenli\u201d oldu\u011funu belirtilmi\u015ftir. GDO\u2019lu g\u0131dalar\u0131n g\u00fcvenli\u011fi konusunda ger\u00e7ek anlamda bir bilimsel ihtilaf yoktur. \u00a0Bir zamanlar\u0131n \u00e7evre eylemcisi yazar Mark Lynas \u201cOn y\u0131ll\u0131k GDO ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131mda tek bir soruna rastlamad\u0131m\u201d itiraf\u0131, bir\u00e7ok m\u00fcphem soruya a\u00e7\u0131kl\u0131k getirmektedir.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>GDO\u2019lu \u00fcr\u00fcnler ve \u00e7evre: <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"selectionShareable\">Biyotek \u00fcr\u00fcnlerin yaratt\u0131\u011f\u0131 ekonomik art\u0131, maliyetlerinin d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcr\u00fclmesi ve verim art\u0131\u015f\u0131 ile ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilmi\u015ftir. Daha az b\u00f6cek ilac\u0131 kullan\u0131lmas\u0131yla 28 milyon ton CO<sub><span style=\"font-size: small;\">2 <\/span><\/sub>sal\u0131n\u0131m\u0131 engellenmi\u015ftir ki bu, her y\u0131l 12 milyon daha az arac\u0131n trafi\u011fe \u00e7\u0131kmas\u0131 demektir. Di\u011fer taraftan, k\u00fcresel \u0131s\u0131nmada etken metan gaz\u0131 sal\u0131n\u0131m\u0131nda %15 sorumlu olan \u00e7eltik tar\u0131m\u0131nda biyoteknoloji b\u00fcy\u00fck bir geli\u015fme sa\u011flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. K\u0131sa zamanda tescili beklenmeyen transgenik \u00e7eltik genotipleri metan sal\u0131n\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 adeta s\u0131f\u0131rlamaktad\u0131r. Y\u00fcksek verimi ile GDO\u2019lu \u00fcr\u00fcnler, k\u0131s\u0131tl\u0131 su ve enerji kaynaklar\u0131n\u0131, g\u00fcbre, ila\u00e7 ve eme\u011fi etkin kullanmaktad\u0131r. B\u00fct\u00fcn bunlar, s\u00f6z konusu \u00fcr\u00fcnlerin \u00e7evreye katk\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 sergilemektedir.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Transgenikler baz\u0131 nedenlerle ka\u00e7\u0131n\u0131lmaz m\u0131? <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"selectionShareable\">\u0130lgin\u00e7tir, baz\u0131 tar\u0131msal sorunlar\u0131n \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm\u00fcnde klasik bitki \u0131slah\u0131 yetersiz kalmaktad\u0131r. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc baz\u0131 t\u00fcrlerde t\u00fcr i\u00e7i gen kaynaklar\u0131 amaca destek verecek genlere sahip olmayabilmektedir. Nitekim onlarca y\u0131ll\u0131k ara\u015ft\u0131rmaya ra\u011fmen, narenciye b\u00f6lgesi Florida\u2019da b\u00fcy\u00fck tahribat yapan \u00a0\u201cTurun\u00e7gil ye\u015fillenme hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131na\u201d dayan\u0131kl\u0131 bir genotip geli\u015ftiremezken, s\u00f6z konusu hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131n \u00f6tesinde \u201cbakteriyel kanser ve yaprak lekesi hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131na\u201d da dayan\u0131kl\u0131 transgenik hatlar geli\u015ftirilmi\u015ftir. Kestane kanserine dayan\u0131kl\u0131 genotiplerde ise yabanc\u0131 gen ise bu\u011fdaydan gelmektedir.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Yar\u0131nlarda hangi transgenik bitkileri marketlerde g<\/strong><strong>\u00f6rece\u011fiz?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"selectionShareable\">Son y\u0131llarda, yaln\u0131z g\u0131da yeterlili\u011fi i\u00e7in de\u011fil, \u00e7ift\u00e7isinin rekabetini d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnen \u00fclkeler, kamusal desteklerle bitki \u0131slah\u0131na yat\u0131r\u0131m yaparken, tohum sekt\u00f6r\u00fcnde pazar paylar\u0131n\u0131 art\u0131rmak isteyen \u00f6zel sekt\u00f6r de, yeni genotipleri geli\u015ftirme \u00e7abalar\u0131na h\u0131z vermi\u015ftir. Do\u011fal olarak ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar, yeni ve gelecek beklentisi y\u00fcksek konulara odaklanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.
